Drop in to find out what’s going on during CEUT’s Aire air Sunnd Festival, pick up a programme and enjoy some Gaelic tasters. Light refreshments available in our Pop Up Café.

Discover North Uist’s heritage captured in photographs
Join CEUT volunteers working to document life and culture on the Island and browse through our photographic albums. Light refreshments, baking and chat are also on the menu.

Heritage wellbeing drop in. Work on the survey findings. Be creative - sew, knit, tell our stories and chat. Light refreshments available.

Sgrìob gu Dùn an Sticir,
26 July, 2-3pm This walk will explore the tidal Loch an Sticir and its three islands connected by artificial causeways. The eastern island features the remains of an Iron Age broch, built over in the 16th-century by a medieval hall, the home of the infamous Hugh MacDonald of Sleat. Meet at the end of the road to Port nan Long, by the ruined crofts. Sgrìob gu Clach an t-Sagairt, Druim na Croise and the site of St Columba’s Church, 2 August, 2-3.30pm
This walk will guide you from the site of St Columba’s Church to Clach an t-Sagairt the site of St Columba’s Church and Druim na Croise. An extension to St Columba’s Well may be available, weather permitting. Meet on the grass beside the new Clachan Sands cemetery. Sgrìob gu Barpa Langais agus Pubull Fhìnn,
9 August, 2-4pm This walk will begin by walking up to Barpa Langais, the best preserved Neolithic chambered cairn in the Outer Hebrides. We will climb to the trig point on Ben Langais above Pubull Fhìnn and walk down to this stone circle erected around 2000BC. This walk offers spectacular views of Loch Langais and Loch Euphort. Meet at Barp car park. |

Cladach agus machair online launch - 24TH SEPTEMBER 2020

Join us for the online launch of our new virtual exhibition Cladach Agus Machair (Coast and Machair), a project that involves reflections on our changing coastline by local crofters and schoolchildren. Virtual launch via zoom 11.30-13.00pm Thursday 24th September.
