(Traigh Iar)
On arriving at the beach, I smell the foul silage. Even before I climbed down the
dunes, I can hear the waves roaring and my excitement builds. I tumble onto the
silky-smooth sand, it feels like clouds beneath my feet. The golden sand is littered
with colourful pebbles, I especially like the glittery white ones. My face is glowing
in the sun, the smell of my protective sun cream grows stronger. I cautiously place
my bare foot in the turquoise water, the coldness of the water makes my teeth
chatter. I splash along the shimmering water's edge while the seagulls screech
overhead. The waves crashing against the rocks further out are opposite to the
waves gently lapping the shore. The sea air tastes salty in my mouth. At the rocky
end of the beach, I could see three children clambering over the slippery rocks, I
can hear them yelling to one another.
