VIRTUAL ST KILDA |
Virtual St Kilda was a digital heritage project exhibited in Taigh Chearsabhagh from 4th May – 27th July 2014 as part of our St Kilda Exhibition. It recreated Village Bay as it would have looked in around 1890 to enable a better understanding of island life 40 years before the evacuation of its last inhabitants on 29 August 1930.
The exhibition explored life on the island and the wider project captured the memories of those whose families had lived and worked there.
